OECD DAC
Snøhetta was commissioned to develop a new visual identity for the DAC, which has become known as The DAC Language.
The DAC Language is built up of a set of elements – a toolbox – to be used by DAC in order to meet the demands from the large variety of reports and publications produced by OECD/DAC.
Since 1961, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) Development Assistance Committee (DAC) has supported, defined and monitored global standards in key areas of development.
The Development Co-operation Directorate (DCD) supports the DAC, contributing to developing better policies for better lives through transparent data on development finance, and improved development co-operation practices and policies. The organization is lead by Erik Solheim, Chairman (Chairman) and the OECD’s Development Assistance Committee in Paris, France.
Currently, the DAC is comprised of 29 member states: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union.
The DAC Language will help give all DAC publications a united visual look. The DAC Language will co-exist with the overall OECD Visual Identity.
