The Heinemann Duty Free Shop located in Oslo's Gardermoen airport highlights regionals area of Norway, and their Norwegian specialities. The design concept is an abstract display of what Norway’s nature – the feel of natural environment with its fertile greenery, fresh air and water, dramatic views and light.
The Norwegian word, Østlandet, refers to the vast landscape of Eastern Norway, characterized by its glacial rock formations, lush vegetation and changing sky. The re-composition of these elements form the ingredients for the resulting interior concept.
Norway is the park of Europe where everybody has 'allemannsrett,' or the principle of freedom to roam. The nature of Norway - its parks, mountains and coastline is open to everyone.
