Rema1000 Sustainable Concept Store System

Rema1000 Sustainable Concept Store System

The innovative store concept aims to achieve a reduction in energy consumption of between 30 % and 50 %. This will reduce the impact on the environment as well as operating costs and optimize the sales area. This means less strain on the environment and lower costs.

The new store includes green elements such as LED lighting, roof made ready for the installation of solar cells and recyclable rock wool in the wall panels.

The aim is to create a quality construction product that utilizes all our knowledge about efficient store operations. The store-concept system is green, efficient, and good indoor climate, enhancing a better working environment.

The system has a strong architectural profile that will fit in well anywhere in Norway. The store front design will vary depending on where the stores are located; COUNTRY is inspired by sheaves of corn blowing in the wind. MOUNTAIN resembles high peaks and deep valleys. FJORD is inspired by waves and the sea, and CITY is inspired by kvadraturen, centres is Norwegian cities.

The project has been committed to striking a balance between the social, economic, aesthetic, practical and sustainable and a simple, but strong architectural feel.
