The facility has room for 130 students and 60 staff from the three departments of the Faculty of the Performing Arts, plus KHiO’s central administration.
The new buildings have a total of 22 stages, halls and studios clustered tightly together. The facility is intended to be more of an education workshop for the
performing arts than a school with a performance theatre. The angle between the two largest new buildings forms a
space that handles pedestrian traffic and material transport on two different levels. These spaces are multi-functional areas; lounge spaces with a cafeteria for
students and staff, gathering spaces, a foyer, an assembly hall and transport spaces.
